Paul Arciero, professor of health and human physiological sciences, published a position stand titled, "International Society of Sports Nutrition Position Stand: Effects of essential amino acid supplementation on exercise and performance," in the . This position stand serves as the scientific foundation to athletes, dietitians, trainers, and other practitioners as to the benefits of supplemental essential amino acids (EAA) in both healthy and resistant (aging/clinical) populations. The paper was co-authored with Michael J. Ormsbee 鈥�02, former visiting assistant professor of health and human physiological sciences.

Bernard Possidente, professor of biology, co-authored and presented a poster, "Assessing Genetic Variation for Effects of Lithium on Circadian Clock Period, Sleep Behavior, and Mortality in Fruit Flies," with Noah Fryou 鈥�23 and Mingjia Li 鈥�19 at the 2023 World Sleep Congress in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The oral presentation by Fryou won a New Investigator Award.
